CoSIDA Professional Development/Membership Continuing Education Series

Through year-round continuing educationa and training, COSIDA provides the membership - and others in the intercollegiate enterprise - with ample opportunities to advance their careers at any age and level and to enhance the profession.

There are many options available in our communications training to develop skills in effective strategic and crisis communications, reputation management and branding, digital and social media, advanced PR writing, and more. It is our goal to help each professional elevates their expertise, giving them the necessary skills that today's employers are looking for in a communications strategist. 

Choose from CoSIDA's training modules to find the subjects you want, delivered in the formats you prefer: 

• Online continuing education training: 30–60 minute webinars and calls offer you convenient access to experts who offer tips, tools and resources on a wide variety of topics. Each webinar or call is also recorded and archived for on-demand use, and most training sessions also include a full transcript, courtesy of ASAP Sports, CoSIDA's "Official Instant Transcript Provider."
• The annual CoSIDA Convention, with innovative programming covering all aspects of athletic communications.
• "Communications Watch" emails, sent to the membership. Each "Communications Watch" provides links to news and information impacting intercollegiate athletic communicators. It is provided for our members and the athletics community at large as part of CoSIDA's mission to be strategic communicators on behalf of college athletics.
• Following the official CoSIDA Twitter account (@cosidanews) as we pull the best articles and comment and monitor on the latest communications/PR news.
